GCMHP conducted a training course titled "Basic Concepts in Mental Health" with the participation of a group of psychologists, therapists, and psychosocial support specialists working within the program.
The training aimed to equip participants with skills in providing psychological first aid in crisis situations, to identify the most common mental health disorders among children and adolescents, to familiarize them with the program's referral criteria, and to introduce them to the fundamental principles and concepts of child protection.
Participants praised the importance of the training and the new skills and knowledge they gained, emphasizing that this experience would positively impact their professional performance and the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
