GCMHP through its "Point of Hope" in Gaza, organized a vibrant and energetic recreational day as part of its play-based learning initiative. The event began with ice-breaking and introductory activities, such as the "Surprise Ball" game. This was followed by team-based challenges, including blindfolded cup-stacking, ring-passing, target practice, a cone-snatching game, a musical ball-passing game, and knocking down cones. The activities were designed to foster focus, quick reaction times, cooperation, and teamwork.
The session concluded in an atmosphere of joy and appreciation, with the children sharing their thoughts and positive experiences.
This activity is part of the project “Improving the Availability of Youth and their Caregivers to Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Quality Services in Gaza Strip." in partnership with the Belgian Agency for International Cooperation - Enabel, and funded by the Belgian Government.
