As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, GCMHP organized a self-care session for its staff, aiming to support their mental well-being amid the ongoing pressures in Gaza.
The session began with a welcome and highlighted the importance of self-care in maintaining psychological health and sustaining humanitarian work. Activities included stress-relief exercises, body-awareness techniques, and short self- regulation practices to safely reconnect with the body and release tension.
The session concluded by emphasizing the value of ongoing self-care initiatives to strengthen psychological resilience and enhance staff capacity to cope with daily challenges and workplace pressures.
