On the occasion of #World_ Mental_ Health_ Day, GCMHP launched a heartwarming initiative titled "Messages of Hope." These messages, filled with encouragement and positivity—offered moments of warmth and psychological support to humanitarian and health workers, helping them cope with the daily pressures and challenges they face.
The initiative was more than just a distribution of messages; it created a space for positive connection, the sharing of goodwill, and the strengthening of team spirit. It fostered values of appreciation and belonging, thereby helping to alleviate psychological stress and promote mental and emotional balance among the staff.
GCMHP believes that those who support others also need support themselves, and that those who offer hope deserve to find it in their own surroundings. Caring for mental health is not limited to service beneficiaries; it extends to the staff and caregivers who form a fundamental pillar of the mental health and psychosocial support system.
The initiative concluded with a clear message: prioritizing mental health begins with simple steps, a sincere word or a humane gesture, that can make a profound difference. This highlights the importance of continuing such initiatives, which spread hope and positivity, foster a culture of mutual psychological support, and help build a work environment that is more humane, inclusive, and attentive to the mental health and well-being of its staff.
Because the hope that... It is something we give to others; it is also something we deserve to give to ourselves.
