GCMHP conducted a training session titled "Common Mental Disorders Among Children and Adults: Detection, Referral, Stress Management, and Self-Care," attended by 22 specialists.
The training aimed to enhance participants' knowledge and skills regarding the identification of common mental disorders in children and adults, as well as appropriate detection and referral mechanisms. It also sought to develop stress management skills and promote self-care practices.
This training is part of GCMHP’s ongoing efforts to build the capacity of professionals working in mental health and psychosocial support. By developing their professional skills, the program aims to improve service quality and enhance the response to the community's psychosocial needs.
