“GCMHP Conducted Professional Supervision Sessions for Staff”

  • Previews 26

GCMHP conducted professional supervision sessions for its staff, these sessions are part of GCMHP’s efforts to enhance the capacities and resilience of mental health professionals. They were conducted as part of a series of professional supervision sessions targeting staff working in community centers and points of hope affiliated with the Programme in the Gaza, Middle, and Khan Younis governorates. Twenty-three mental health specialists, facilitators, and community leaders participated, divided into two groups.

The sessions aimed to provide a safe and structured space for participants to exchange professional experiences and expertise, and to enhance their skills in providing psychological and emotional support. This, in turn, contributes to reducing burnout and professional fatigue, and strengthens their resilience and ability to continue providing high-quality psychosocial services to beneficiaries.

The participants emphasized the importance of these sessions in supporting them on both professional and personal levels, as they provide an opportunity for mutual learning, enhance professional cohesion, and maintain their psychological well-being, which positively impacts the quality of services provided to the community.
