GCMHP conducted an awareness session for a group of men on psychological resilience and its role in maintaining mental health and coping with various life challenges and pressures.
The session addressed the importance of psychological resilience in facing economic, social, and familial pressures. It also reviewed several practical strategies that contribute to enhancing psychological resilience, including organizing thoughts, problem-solving, and building supportive relationships. The importance of self-care and utilizing social support networks was also emphasized.
The activity helped raise participants' awareness of the importance of psychological resilience and enhanced their knowledge of practical skills that help them cope with daily pressures. Participants were also introduced to GCMHP's services and its free psychological telephone counseling, enabling them to access support services when needed.
This session is part of GCMHP's ongoing efforts to raise awareness about mental health and promote life skills among various segments of society, thereby contributing to individual resilience and empowering individuals to effectively face challenges.
