Gaza Community Mental Health Programme GCMHP Organizes Recreational Trips for School Students
Gaza Community Mental Health Programme GCMHP has recently organized (20) recreational trips, which targeted 172 school teachers and 3900 students. The recreational trips are part of the "School Counselling Programme Supporting Traumatized Children in Gaza- Stage 6” , Which is funded by the Welfare Association (Taawon).
As part of the recreational activities, the Programme accompanied the students to different archeological sites including the English Cemetery and other educational centers. The high school students have also visited the Islamic University in Gaza where they visited several departments
Throughout the tours, several recreational activities were conducted to create an atmosphere and joy for the students. The activities included the clown show in addition to playing at Gaza sea port, Dolphin Tourist Resort, and Noor Tourist Resort.
It is worth mentioning that the recreational activities are part of the project. It aims at improving the medical and mental conditions for the school students suffering from psychological and behavioral problems. Through the provision of psychological counselling services to help improve the school environment psychologically.
